Farmers seek compromise in ESB dispute

The Irish Cattle and Sheepfarmers Association is calling for compromise in a dispute between its members in Bantry and the ESB.

The Irish Cattle and Sheepfarmers Association is calling for compromise in a dispute between its members in Bantry and the ESB.

The farmers are currently blockading the construction of overhead power lines which will link a new wind farm to the national grid.

The protestors want the lines to go underground because of health and safety concerns.
