Taoiseach: No Constitutional right to home ownership
The Taoiseach says there is no Constitutional right to home ownership.
Mr Ahern was answering questions in the Dail about newspaper reports which said the average cost of a house in Dublin now stands at €250,000.
The Taoiseach told the Dail the All-Party Committee on the Constitution is exploring ways to make houses more affordable.
