Retired members gather for SIPTU conference

Over 150 delegates from around the country are attending the annual conference of the SIPTU retired members section today.

Over 150 delegates from around the country are attending the annual conference of the SIPTU retired members section today.

The conference, which will be opened by Minister for Social Affairs, Mary Coughlan, will debate issues affecting retired people including the rising rate of inflation, pensions and housing.

The conference will also be addressed by Labour’s spokesperson on health, Liz McManus.
