Lee Byrne returns from a knee injury to replace the injured Dragon Kevin Morgan at full back and is joined in the back line by fit again fellow Osprey Shane Williams, who takes over from Chris Czekaj on the wing.

Blues centre Tom Shanklin makes his first start of the 2007 Championship, replacing regional team-mate Jamie Robinson, who moves from outside centre to the bench, with Scarlet Mark Jones moving from the right to left wing in a positional switch.

And it is all change in the front row with Gethin Jenkins and Chris Horsman recalled at prop and Scarlets hooker Matthew Rees named to make his first Six Nations start.

At highly rated young second row Ian Gough returns from injury instead of Robert Sidoli who drops out of the 22 with Brent Cockbain providing cover from the bench.

France have made five changes to their squad for next weekend's Six nations clash with Wales.

They have suffered a blow with the loss of number eight Sebastien Chabal who was injured playing for Sale against Wasps yesterday.
