Westmeath make two changes for Dublin clash
David Duffy comes in for the injured Martin Flanagan in the Westmeath team to take on Dublin in Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final in Croke Park (throw-in 2pm).
A knee injury picked up in the quarter-final win over Offaly has ruled Flanagan out and his place at midfield has gone to Duffy.
Westmeath manager Tomas O' Flatharta has made one other change with Dermot Bannon replacing Alan Managan at left corner forward.
Interestingly, Bannon turned in a man-of-the-match display when Westmeath beat the Dubs in April's National League Division 2 final and O' Flatharta is obviously hoping for more of the same.
Westmeath are also hoping history can repeat itself. They are seeking to reach the Leinster final for the first time since 2004, and on the way to winning the title that year they beat Dublin at the quarter-final stage.
Goals could decide Sunday's game. The Lake county scored 2-10 against Longford and 2-11 against Offaly in their championship outings so far this summer.
But they have failed to find the net in their last five championship meetings with Dublin.
Down, meanwhile, have named an unchanged team to face Armagh in the Ulster football semi-final on Sunday.
