In Dublin, a post mortem is due to be carried out on the body of a man who was found unconscious in Dublin on Saturday morning.

He was found in Temple Bar shortly before seven o'clock and was taken to St James Hospital where he died a short time later.

Meanwhile, a post mortem is due to be carried out on the body of Longford student Michael Hughes, which was recovered in Galway yesterday.

The 20-year-old was reported missing five weeks ago.

His body was found on ground near the Coast Road outside Oranmore in Galway following a search involving up to 50 people.

He was last seen in Galway city on February 20.
