The Irish Defence Forces are due to hold a demonstration of firepower in the Glen of Imaal in Co Wicklow today.

The Irish Defence Forces are due to hold a demonstration of firepower in the Glen of Imaal in Co Wicklow today.

An array of military weaponry and equipment will be put on display, while the Army Rangers will also engage in a life firing exercise.

Defence Forces Chief of Staff Colm Mangan and Defence Minister Michael Smith are both due to attend the event, which is designed to showcase Ireland’s military capacity.
