Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni has today named an unchanged squad for next month’s World Cup qualifier in Cyprus.
The Italian has selected the same 24 men he did for the 3-0 friendly defeat by Australia earlier this month.
Ireland face Cyprus in Nicosia on Saturday, September 5 as they attempt to cement their claims in Group 8, and will play another friendly, against South Africa at Thomond Park in Limerick, three days later.
