Drogheda United chairman Vincent Hoey says he is confident that he can lead the club out of its current financial difficulties.
The Eircom League Premier Division side has been given a little breathing space after being put into examinership.
Hoey has already been meeting with supporters and there will be a General Meeting next week to outline the immediate plans, which will revolve around a deal for a new stadium.
Hoey says he is sure the support is there to secure the club's future.
