Poll: Colm O'Gorman unlikely to win Wexford seat
Progressive Democrats candidate Colm O'Gorman is highly unlikely to win a Dáil seat in his native Wexford constituency, according to an opinion poll published today.
The Red C poll in the Wexford Echo newspaper suggests there would be no change in the political make up of the constituency if an election were held today.
Junior Minister and Fianna Fáil TD John Browne would top the poll with 30% of first-preference votes, which is double what he secured at the last election.
The figure would guarantee Fianna Fáil a second seat in the constituency, with Fine Gael's Paul Keogh and Brendan Howlin of the Labour Party.
The fifth seat would be a race between Fine Gael duo Liam Twomey and Michael D'Arcy.
