Three released in Dublin gangland operation

Three of the five men who were arrested on Wednesday in an operation targeting organised crime in south Dublin were released without charge last night.

Three of the five men who were arrested on Wednesday in an operation targeting organised crime in south Dublin were released without charge last night.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Two remain in custody following the seizure of a loaded Gloch firearm, 13 rounds of ammunition and two stolen vehicles.

Both are being held separately at Terenure and Pearse Street garda stations.
