The National Standards Authority has published new safety measures to protect bank and security workers.

The National Standards Authority has published new safety measures to protect bank and security workers.

Under the rules, companies will be forced to vet their staff more carefully, and provide better training for them.

The gardaí will also liaise more closely with companies to help reduce the risk of tiger kidnappings.

All security vans will be fitted with CCTV cameras and GPS units to track their movements.
