Gardaí to make Route 66 motorbike trip in aid of UNICEF

Over 60 gardaí are to undertake the legendary Route 66 road-trip on motorbikes in aid of UNICEF Ireland.

Over 60 gardaí are to undertake the legendary Route 66 road-trip on motorbikes in aid of UNICEF Ireland.

Details of the first ever joint-fundraising initiative organised by An Garda Siochana and UNICEF are being unveiled this afternoon in Galway.

Next May gardaí from Galway, Clare, Mayo and Roscommon will travel almost 2,500 miles across the United States by motorcycle.
