The Psychiatric Nurses Association says a 25-bed facility at Tallaght Hospital is being closed on Saturday evening due to a lack of staff.

The Psychiatric Nurses Association says a 25-bed facility at Tallaght Hospital is being closed on Saturday evening due to a lack of staff.

Members of the PNA have been refusing to work overtime as part of a long-running dispute with the HSE over compensation for staff if they are attacked while at work.

The lack of cover means the facility cannot operate and patients at the male admission unit will be moved.
