Cork: Teen killed in crash with pole

An 18-year-old man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a pole in Co Cork in the early hours of this morning.

An 18-year-old man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a pole in Co Cork in the early hours of this morning.

The accident happened at West Village in Ballincollig just after 4am.

No other vehicles were involved.

Meanwhile, a motorcyclist in his 30s also died after colliding with a van in the Finglas area of Dublin at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.
