100 jobs lost due to Flatley planning dispute

One hundred construction workers have reportedly been laid off due to a planning dispute between dancer Michael Flatley and Cork County Council.

One hundred construction workers have reportedly been laid off due to a planning dispute between dancer Michael Flatley and Cork County Council.

Reports this morning said renovation work on Mr Flatley’s €50m estate in Castlehyde had been halted because of the dispute.

The row reportedly revolves around two ornamental ponds and a gym that Mr Flatley wants to build on the estate.
