Easing of tensions between Gallagher brothers sparks Oasis reunion speculation

An Oasis reunion could be on the cards as it appears that Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher have ended their feud.

The brothers and former bandmates - who famously fell out when Noel quit Oasis before a Paris gig in 2009 - look to have finally patched up their relationship after Liam went to see his sibling play with his new band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on tour.

The 42-year-old singer took to his Twitter account yesterday to post a picture of his Access All Areas backstage pass to the concert.

He captioned the photo: "Keeping it in the family...LG x"

Although it is unclear which High Flying Birds gig the singer has attended, he also posted a cryptic tweet ahead of the band's show in Manchester on monday night.

He wrote: "Hometown Gig Monday night, Keeping it Dangerous LG x"

Noel recently reached out to his younger brother - who fronted the band Beady Eye until their split last year - and offered to pen songs for the 'Flick of the Finger' singer.

He said: "I'd write him a few songs, I've got a few songs lying around that he'd be good at singing. But I'm not sure what he plans to do or if plans to do anything.

"I see him at the football and we talk.

"Liam won't be out of the music game for long, and he shouldn't be, because there aren't many people like that still left."

He also recently branded the singer's personal life a "f**king mess", following his divorce from wife Nicole Appleton after fathering a love child with American journalist Liza Ghorbani,

and claims Liam had been too young to deal with fame when the band became a global success when he was just 19.

He said: "At the age of 19 he left my mum's house, got on the train to London and moved in with Patsy Kensit.

"I still feel ... the word's not 'sorry' for him, but with all the madness that went on in the 90s I could deal with it because I knew what it was like to be normal, and I was driving everything in an artistic way.

"People were asking Liam about songwriting in interviews and he didn't have a clue. I think that's why he went berserk."

Despite their ongoing rift, Liam has spoken of his fondness for his brother in the past but insisted the pair couldn't work together again.

He said in 2013: "Everyone knows my feelings, I'm not shy with that.

"I love our kid - as in the Noel that's not in a band.

"But the geezer that's in the band? I f**king, absolutely f**king, despise him."
