Schwarzer returns for Boro
Goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer returned for Middlesbrough after two matches out with a shoulder injury.

Manager Steve McClaren made five other changes to the side with Frank Queudrue, Fabio Rochemback, Aiyegbeni Yakubu, Gareth Southgate and Stuart Parnaby all recalled.

Kanu was preferred to Geoff Horsfield in attack while Paul Robinson returned following a three-match suspension. He replaced Martin Albrechtsen.
