Tina Turner is set to play her first show for seven years at London's Natural History Museum to raise cash for a children's charity.

The singer will headline a benefit concert for the Cauldwell Children charity next month, according to new Internet reports.

The Private Dancer singer, 67, tells website Soundgenerator.com: "I am delighted to be associated with a charity which reaches out to so many young people. If my songs make people dig deep into their pockets, then I will have achieved my aim."

Those hoping to see Turner come out of retirement for the night will have to take part in the charity's upcoming raffle.

Turner is currently completing her first album in eight years.
