Labour to announce new recruit

The Labour Party will today unveil a new recruit - Independent Roscommon councillor John Kelly.

The Labour Party will today unveil a new recruit - Independent Roscommon councillor John Kelly.

The 49-year-old father of three topped the poll in last year's local elections in the Castlerea electoral area.

Councillor Kelly also ran in the 2007 General Election and was eliminated on the third count after securing more than 4,500 first preference votes.
