Two men are to be charged in connection with the theft of a quantity of metal in Co Louth.

Two men are to be charged in connection with the theft of a quantity of metal in Co Louth.

The robbery happened at a premises on Saint John's Street in Ardee on Wednesday.

Shortly afterwards, investigating officers who stopped and searched a van discovered metal and arrested three men, aged 17, 20, 21, for questioning.

The 17 year old was questioning and released, while the other men are to be brought before Ardee District Court on September 10.
