The Labour Party is warning that the elderly and people on low incomes won't be able to keep their homes warm this winter because of rising fuel costs.

The Labour Party is warning that the elderly and people on low incomes won't be able to keep their homes warm this winter because of rising fuel costs.

The party is publishing a bill today aimed at forcing the Government to formulate a strategy to deal with fuel poverty.

Labour spokesperson Liz McManus says she wants grants to help people insulate their homes and to upgrade their heating systems.
