Probables 33 Possibles 19

The Probables edged out the Possibles in a highly competitive, free flowing Leinster Schools final trial at Templeville Road.

Both sides combined effectively throughout, despite the numerous positional and personal changes.

Second row Devin Toner, full back Robert Kearney (2) and number eight Ron Boucher touched down for out-half Jonathan Sexton to add the points to three of them for a 26-7 lead at the break.

The Possibles may have been well in arrears, but they kept playing their patterns and were rewarded with tries from Brian McGovern in the first-half.

Marcus McAllister and Fionn Carr, as replacement Conor Gildea, maintained the Probables stranglehold with a sharp try in the last quarter.
