Gardaí release man in Dublin shooting investigation

A man has been released by Gardaí after being questioned in connection with a shooting at a house in Dublin yesterday.

A man has been released by Gardaí after being questioned in connection with a shooting at a house in Dublin yesterday.

Shots were fired through the window of a house in the Hazel Hill area of Tallaght just before 1am in the morning.

A man who was inside at the time escaped injury.

Gardaí conducted a number of follow-up searches after the incident in which they recovered two rifles.

Two men were also detained for questioning, one has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
