Callum McCormack has played his way into the Westmeath team to face Kerry in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC second-round qualifier in Mullingar (throw-in 3pm).
McCormack came off the bench to help the midlanders overcome Louth in the first round, shooting a goal and three points in the 1-15 to 0-12 win three weeks ago.
The U-21 player from Maryland replaces James Dolan at left half forward in the only change manager Pat Flanagan has made.
Dolan is unavailable for the game due to the four-week suspension he picked up for verbal abuse during a Garrycastle minor match he attended. Match referee Barry Kelly reported him.
Regular full-back Kieran Gavin is still absent with a quad muscle injury.
He was a late addition to the team to play Louth, but the injury flared up during the warm-up and Mark McCallion was drafted in to start.
