Industrial estate re-opens after chemical spill

The Whitestown Industrial Estate, and a section of the Tallaght by-pass in south-west Dublin have reopened after an earlier chemical spill in the area.

The Whitestown Industrial Estate, and a section of the Tallaght by-pass in south-west Dublin have reopened after an earlier chemical spill in the area.

The incident occurred at a factory in the estate at about 12.15pm today.

The industrial estate was evacuated and sealed off while a section of the Tallaght by-pass from Jobstown to Tallaght Hospital was closed.
