Mourners attend Jim Mitchell funeral
Mourners this afternoon attended the funeral of the former Fine Gael Minister Jim Mitchell.
The ceremony mass was held at St. Joseph's Church, Terenure, in Dublin at midday today.
Represented at the funeral were the Taoiseach and the President.
The present leader of the Fine Gael party Enda Kenny along with many party colleagues gathered for the funeral as well.
Mr Mitchell's wife Patsy and his children Ruairm, Siniad, Neil, Aoife, and Caitrmona were chief mourners.
