The Oireachtas committee investigating the controversial CIE mini-CTC contract has heard that engineers had reservations about the successful bidder for the contract.
Executives from Price Waterhouse Coopers told the inquiry today that Sasib had no experience of the rail systems in either Britain or Ireland.
The concerns of the engineers were contained in a draft report about the mini-CTC system, but they were diluted in a subsequent summary report to make them less alarming.
