Police in Ballymena who seized a significant quantity of petrol bombs have warned of deaths unless the violence which has gripped the area since the weekend ends.
Crates containing empty bottles and two 10-gallon drums containing petrol were also recovered.
Chief Inspector Stephen Martin said: “This was a significant seizure of sinister material designed to cause serious injury and destruction. The quantity recovered clearly indicates the scale of disorder that had been planned.
“This mayhem needs to stop before someone is injured or killed.”
