The Sinn Fein president, Gerry Adams has accused the Northern Secretary, John Reid, of being "dishonest" in claiming that republicans had lost the trust of unionists over alleged IRA actions.

He said even Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble, knows the IRA ceasefire is not at risk.
