The 27-year-old will face charges of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs when he appears before Belfast Magistrates Court.

His arrest followed a joint operation by police in Northern Ireland and the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.

A 72-year-old man was also arrested in Belfast and a 32-year-old man in Ballymena. Both were released pending further inquiries.

A spokeswoman for the Police Service in Northern Ireland said six people had previously been charged in connection with the drugs seizures last October, in the Dargan and Apollo areas of Belfast.
