Man charged after serious knife attack in Dundalk

A man has been charged in connection with a serious knife attack on another man in Co Louth over the weekend.

A man has been charged in connection with a serious knife attack on another man in Co Louth over the weekend.

The 19-year-old victim received hundreds of stitches after he was slashed in the face and body in Dundalk in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 25-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the attack last night has been charged with assault causing harm.

He has been released on bail to appear before Dundalk District Court tomorrow.
