Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is in Scotland today to unveil a memorial for victims of the potato famine.

He will be joined by Scottish First Minister Henry McLiesh and Northern Secretary Dr John Reid.

The Taoiseach had been due to unveil the memorial at Carfin Grotto in February.

The unveiling was postponed amid fears of a possibility of sectarian violence as the event coincided with an Old Firm derby between Catholic club Celtic and Protestant outfit Glasgow Rangers.
