Fine Gael leadership candidate Jim Mitchell is meeting his advisors this morning at Leinster House to decide whether or not to stay in the race.

The meeting comes amid renewed speculation that Deputy Mitchell is about to pull out of the campaign, leaving a straight face off between Michael Noonan and Enda Kenny.

The 72-member parliamentary party is to meet at 11am to vote on who will lead them into the next election.
