Some newly elected deputies have been promoted at the expense of longer serving TDs, while Jim O'Keefe, Bernard Allen, Bernard Burke and Dinny McGinley are exiting the opposition bench.

Cork North West TD Michael Creed will take the FG Agriculture, Fisheries and Food portfolio in the 30th Dail.

Dr James Reilly becomes spokesperson on Health, while Leo Varadkar becomes the Enterprise, Trade and Employment spokesperson.

Brian Hayes comes in at Education and Science, while Jimmy Deenihan gets Defence and Charlie Flanagan is the new spokesperson on Justice.

Elsewhere, Deputy Leader Richard Bruton retains the Finance portfolio, Olivia Mitchell is at Art, Sport and Tourism, while Simon Coveney has responsibility for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.

Alan Shatter will be spokesperson for Children, Michael Ring heads up Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs and Phil Hogan has Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

Denis Naughten gets Immigration and Integration, Billy Timmins Foreign Affairs and Olwyn Enright Social and Family Affairs.

Fergus O'Dowd is the new spokesperson on Transport and the Marine, while Paul Kehoe will be Chief Whip and Frances Fitzgerald Leader in the Seanad.
