A witness who told the Morris Tribunal yesterday that all the gardai in Buncrana were aware of the corrupt activities of their colleagues is due to resume her evidence today.

Adrienne McGlinchey said yesterday that every garda in Buncrana Station knew that Detective Noel McMahon and Superintendent Kevin Lennon were staging explosive finds in the early 1990s to further their own careers.

She also said that a detective sergeant told her in 1997 or 1998 that she had gotten Superintendent Lennon promoted and that he had used her for her own ends.

She said Detective McMahon blackmailed her into co-operating with him by threatening to prosecute her over fraudulent cheques she had cashed from her family's company account.
