Three to debut for Carlow against Wexford

Carlow manager Liam Hayes has named three newcomers for Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Wexford at Croke Park.

Carlow manager Liam Hayes has named three newcomers for Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Wexford at Croke Park.

Left half-back Ritchie Synott, midfielder Patrick Walsh and centre-forward Ray Walker will all make their debuts against the league finalists.

Hayes has left a vacancy at left corner-back as he awaits a fitness test on the injured Paul Cashin.

Simon Rea has also been passed fit to play - Carlow's top scorer had been an injury doubt.
