A man in his forties has been released from custody after being arrested in connection with the murder of David Darcy in Dublin last year.

Gardaí release man in connection with Darcy killing

A man in his forties has been released from custody after being arrested in connection with the murder of David Darcy in Dublin last year.

Mr Darcy was shot dead at Cherry Orchard Avenue in Ballyfermot on November 28 last year, as he was leaving for work.

The man was arrested yesterday morning and questioned at Ballyfermot Garda Station before being released without charge. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

A 49-year-old woman has already been charged in relation to the killing.
