ACCBank is to close seven branches and withdraw all cash services from remaining branches from January, the bank said today.
Offices in Dundalk, Naas, Portlaoise, Carlow, Longford, Mallow and Bandon will close on January 16. Staff from these offices will be relocated to other business locations, the bank said, adding that customer accounts will also be transferred.
ACC said the closures and withdrawal of cash services would "position the bank for growth in its chosen market, serving business customers" and that it would be investing in new business premises in Cork, Kilkenny and Limerick and refurbishing all other branches.
