Tottenham will make a number of changes from the team that beat QPR for tomorrow’s Capital One Cup clash at Carlisle.

Tom Huddlestone, Michael Dawson, Steven Caulker and Andros Townsend are likely to make their first starts of the season while Gareth Bale, Brad Friedel and William Gallas will probably be rested.

Emmanuel Adebayor (hamstring), Kyle Naughton (foot), Scott Parker (Achilles), Jake Livermore (groin), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) are out, but Heurelho Gomes has recovered from an ankle problem and will travel to Brunton Park.
