4-year-old boy dies in Mayo farm accident
A four-year-old boy has died in a farm accident in Co. Mayo.
The youngster suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a piece of farm machinery at Ballinaboy, Belmullet at about 8.30pm.
He was rushed to the local hospital where he passed away.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating.
