Woman tied up burglary

A woman in her 20s was tied up during a burglary in east Belfast today.

A woman in her 20s was tied up during a burglary in east Belfast today.

It is understood a man claiming to be a police officer called at the door of the house in the Connsbrook Avenue area at around 1.30am.

He claimed to need access to the rear of the property, but opened the back door for three men wearing baseball caps, with scarves covering their faces.

The gang tied the woman to a radiator before searching the house and leaving with a set of keys.

Police appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
