Teddy Sheringham's agent insists he does not have a problem with Manchester United's offer of just a one-year contract.
Barry Nevill claimed Sheringham has not agreed to join Fulham next season and that talks with United are still continuing.
Sheringham is still considering United's offer of a 12-month deal, worth a reported £35,000-a-week, to replace his current one-year agreement.
The England striker, who last night added the PFA Footballer of the Year award to his FWA accolade, had wanted a two-year deal, but Nevill claims this is not a major sticking point.
"That's not a problem with Teddy or with Manchester United as far as the talks are concerned," he said.
"Nothing has changed really and the talks with Manchester United are still on going."
Sheringham, 35, has repeatedly been linked with a move back to his native London when he becomes a free agent in the summer.
Tottenham, who sold Sheringham to United in a £3.5m deal four years ago, are said to be keen, while West Ham are also reportedly interested in him.
