Diana inquest adjourned until next year

British Royal coroner Michael Burgess today opened and adjourned the inquest into the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and said the full hearing would take place next year.

British Royal coroner Michael Burgess today opened and adjourned the inquest into the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and said the full hearing would take place next year.

The coroner said he had asked Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir John Stevens to make inquiries into speculation that the deaths were not the result of a straightforward traffic accident.
