Man to be charged in Belfast over Newtownards murder

A 36-year-old man is due in court in the North today charged with the murder of another man in east Belfast this week.

A 36-year-old man is due in court in the North today charged with the murder of another man in east Belfast this week.

William Weir was found dead in a house off the Newtownards Road on Tuesday.

Police said two other men, who were being questioned in relation to the incident, have been released without charge.
