Micheál Martin: This is all to play for

The Leader of Fianna Fáil is dismissing the latest opinion poll which see his party edging closer to Fine Gael.

A Millward/Brown poll for the Sunday Independent has seen Fianna Fáil rise to 23% just four points behind Fine Gael.

The survey asked 1,065 people about their voting intentions on Wednesday and Thursday.

Micheál Martin says he doesn't take opinion polls seriously after the misleading outcome in Britain last year.

"People have been obsessing too much about opinion polls and forming conclusions from them.

"We know from the UK that they can be dramatically different to the actual results, in other words, this is all to play for.

"We want to lead the next government and we want to bring about change."
