Labour TD’s Eamon Gilmore, Liz McManus and Ruairi Quinn met with management of Iarnród Eireann today to ask for guarantees for sufficient advance notice of future planned DART disruption.

The TDs called on Iarnród Eireann to learn from its recent handling of the weekend DART suspension.

They are also complaining about the lack of replacement buses, which link the stations while engineering work is carried out.

Deputy Gilmore says commuters must be offered an acceptable alternative.
