Shaun Wright-Phillips has pledged his future to Manchester City amid speculation of a move to Arsenal.

The midfielder’s father Ian Wright was a Highbury legend but the 22-year-old told the Sunday Mirror: “I am not going anywhere because I’m happy where I am.

“I just want to carry on playing for City and let everybody else talk about everything else.

“I still check for Arsenal’s results every Saturday but it doesn’t really signify anything because I check the results does it?”
