Fire victim in stable condition

A man is reported to be in a stable condition at Blanchardstown hospital after he was injured in a fire in Co Kildare earlier today.

A man is reported to be in a stable condition at Blanchardstown hospital after he was injured in a fire in Co Kildare earlier today.

He was discovered lying unconscious in a house in Maynooth after the alarm was raised by a neighbour.

Five others, who were also in the house at the time of the fire, managed to escape unhurt.
