Ryan Giggs has hinted at his desire to stay with Manchester United and insists they are the biggest club in the world.

Speculation continues about David Beckham’s future at Old Trafford and Giggs has long been coveted by top clubs in Italy and Spain.

However, the 29-year-old, who has spent his entire professional career at United, has no plans to leave the club.

He told the News of the World: “I think I’ve got a future at United. I know what I am capable of and it’s up to me to prove it to the manager. There is no better club to play for than United.

“I can understand why some people think Real Madrid are bigger and better than United because they have four or five of the top 10 players in the world but, for me, this is the place to be.

“It’s easy for people to say that the manager will break the team up - especially if we don’t win the league. But we have real quality here and I don’t accept that this team is finished.”
